Taylor Brennan is a Research Specialist at the MIT AgeLab and a doctoral student at the Boston College School of Social Work. Her research examines the intersection of aging and wellbeing, with a particular focus on the workplace as a social determinant of health and learning.

At the AgeLab, Taylor leads the 85+ Lifestyle Leaders Panel and contributes to translational, mixed-methods research in partnership with organizations across sectors such as senior living, financial services, insurance, biopharmaceuticals, and government. Some of her more recent projects have focused on topics such as ageism, third places, financial decision-making with mild cognitive decline, digital skilling of older workers, and age empathy simulation.

Taylor's research has appeared in peer-reviewed publications and academic conferences, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Men's Health, and NerdWallet, among others. She teaches research methods, program evaluation, and social policy and aging at Boston College and Simmons University and serves on the Board of Trustees at Lasell Village (Newton, MA). Taylor earned her MPH and MSW from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and a BSW from the University of Georgia.
